3D printing mishaps

Afro Hairstyling anyone??

I want to share a few mishaps that happened along the way. With all of them I’ve learned one very important thing: The printers know when you are not looking at them.

The first two are more or less regular failures, a stuck stepper…

a part not adhered to the bed…

Rings everywhere, sigh!

But this last one seems like a failure of the firmware. As I see it, the printer stopped printing before finishing and started increasing the Z axis height while extruding which created this thick string of plastic that can barely be seen in the photograph…

Weird huh?

Hope you enjoyed!!
